Visit with the Shahs

This week our dear friends the Shah family came from North Carolina for a visit. We were so sad when they moved away last July and can't believe it's almost been a year since they left!

On Sunday we headed over to the Magic Kingdom with them and our other dear friends the Cullums. I am missing some family pictures we took together but hope to post them later!

Monday they arrived at our house and we mostly just hung out in the house. I attempted to make fajitas for dinner, but it took about two hours for the kiddos to eat (oh yes dinner time can be so fun!) by the time we sat down to eat our food was cold- he he. Pretty sure we all ate at diff times too.

 

Monday night we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory to meet our friends Katie and Lora. Lora's son Jake has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia and this was my first time seeing her since. So thankful for out time together that night.

 Tuesday we went to the aquarium- so glad Steve took off work and was able to come with us.

 

 The rest of the time we just lounged around the house- me in my old lady robe whenever I had a chance (Hey its SO comfortable!) and notice Vipul is drinking out of a 'Mom' mug below. Classy.

 On Weds they headed over to the Cullums house for the rest of the stay. Having them here was a reminder of how far away they are, and we really missed them leaving again. It was hard to say goodbye this again this time! Hope we visit again soon :)
